Before you can craft cards in Master Duel, you need to dismantle the cards that you don't need.

 and search cards that you want to dismantle. You can filter the in-game card list by rarity, card type, attribute, and level/rank. This makes it easier to search for the cards that you need. You can also use the 

 button, which shows you cards from the same archetype, which allows you to choose the right cards in the deck that you're building and remove the others.

After finding the cards, you can now dismantle them. You can choose to dismantle in bulk, or dismantle single copies. Either way, this will give you crafting materials. Keep in mind that 

you need to dismantle 3 cards to get enough materials to craft 1 new card

After gaining new materials after dismantling cards you don't need, it's time to craft new cards. Go back to Deck Builder and search for cards again. This time, you'll be looking for cards that you don't have in your deck yet. Add those missing cards to your deck to prepare for crafting.

Crafting SR and UR cards Unlock Secret Packs

Crafting SR and UR cards not only provide you with powerful cards to use in your deck, but they can also unlock Secret Packs, which you can purchase in the shop.

Crafting a SR or UR card that's part of a Secret Pack for the first time also gives you 1 free pack that you can open to get more cards. Sometimes, these packs help you get the cards you need, which saves crafting materials to be used on other cards.
