have made waves over in the official card game for their ability to be splashed with other archetypes with proficiency, earning them a place as a powerful Engine players can insert as they please.

Their playstyle revolves around the use of the

. With having no effects and standing as a Level 4 EARTH Fairy monster with 2000 ATK and DEF, one could think of it as merely a free monster. However, it is this token that enables the Engine, as it needs to be on the field for additional effects to trigger.

. These cards alone can switch on the Engine in any deck, even with the fact that these two cards have already been put into the Semi-Limited status in the game's banlist.

When played right, even before the user can play their own monsters, the Adventurer Engine should have a powerful field already with an omni-negate, two monsters with decent stats, and a disruption in the form of a bounce (sending a card back to the hand).

This engine pairs well with just about every Deck under the sun, but a good idea in mind is to run this with a Deck that normally doesn't need a Normal Summon at the very start of their turn. Special Summon-heavy Decks will definitely benefit from the added pressure from the Adventurer Engine. Top picks include Prank-Kids, Burning Abyss, Phantom Knights, Cyberse and Tenyi decks, which have had amazing results in the physical card game.

Expect these set of cards to run rampant across all tiers in Ranked Duels; just remember that the Adventurer Token is what makes or breaks the Engine.
