Never trust your first impression of a case. There will be some cases in the game where you will see who was really behind the murder, while others are not so transparent. Always think of new ways of how to look at situations, especially from the point of view of the suspects and the victims.

This applies to evidence as well. A passport may very well be just a passport, and a clock that is four hours behind may just be that as well. Until they aren't. Do not trust your own assumptions of how pieces of evidence are connected to the case, and do you best to look at them from a perspective outside your own.

Not everything appears to be what they are in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Be it the head of a statue, bones on a plate, or a camera facing a lake. Always investigate everything that looks strange in a scene, and think of how it got there or what it was supposed to be used for. You will never know if it will become useful in court.

The Cross Examination is one of the most important parts of a case in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. The witnesses who will take the stand will also either forget, be vague, or downright lie in their testimonies.
